Welcome
The Calgary Kennel & Obedience Club (CKOC) was incorporated under the Alberta Societies Act in 1958 as a non-profit organization dedicated to the betterment of purebred dogs. Our Society shall encourage and develop the sport of pure bred dogs, by encouraging and assisting persons engaged in breeding, raising, training and showing pure bred dogs, in accordance with the Canadian Livestock Pedigree Act.
We hold two all breed dog shows each year, offering both conformation and obedience events. The CKOC All Breed Dog Show showcases Purebred Dogs competing for their Canadian Championships and Top Dog in Canada.
If you dog is not competing, please leave your pet at home. The dogs competing here must have a Canadian Registration Number and were entered in this show, some time ago. So enjoy the show, talk to breeders, pet some dogs and have a great time watching our All Breed Dog Show.
The Canadian Kennel Club is working with veterinary and public health experts to actively monitor developments regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and its variants . We advise all staff, dog event participants and attendees to follow the guidelines provided by the Alberta Health Services and the Public Health Agency of Canada. These include diligent personal hygiene practices to stay healthy and adherence to COVID-19-related travel advisories and guidelines. We also recommend enhanced measures for all dog events, including signage reminders and an abundance of hand sanitizer and hand washing areas accessible to participants and the public.
We are the camping season kick off and wind up….
