COVID ALERT

COVID HAS CHANGED OUR LIVES FOREVER, WE NEED TO BE DILIGENT AND RESPONSIBLE TO STOP COVID FROM SPREADING ANY FURTHER.  COVID 19 PROTOCOLS SEEM TO BE IN CONTINUAL FLUX AND  CHANGE, SO THE CKOC WILL FOLLOW THE CURRENT ALBERTA GOVERNMENT AND AHS GUIDELINES & PROTOCOLS AT THE TIME OF THE SHOW DATES.  THIS INCLUDES THE ENTIRE OLDS REGIONAL EXHIBITION GROUNDS, INCLUDING ALL BUILDING SITES, RV AND PARKING AREAS.

Most people who fall sick with COVID-19 will experience mild to moderate symptoms and recover without special treatment.
HOW IT SPREADS
The virus that causes COVID-19 is mainly transmitted through droplets generated when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or exhales. These droplets are too heavy to hang in the air, and quickly fall on floors or surfaces.
You can be infected by breathing in the virus if you are within close proximity of someone who has COVID-19, or by touching a contaminated surface and then your eyes, nose or mouth.
If you cannot comply with the current protocols and guidelines set forth by the Alberta Government or AHS at the time of the show, please stay home, 
Do Not Enter the show or Attend as a spectator.
IF THERE ARE AHS PROTOCOLS/RESTICTIONS IN PLACE
AT THE TIME OF THE SHOW, THERE WILL BE A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY ON COVID-19 VIOLATIONS.
THIS INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO,
NOT WEARING A MASK OR NOT SOCIAL DISTANCING WHEN IT IS POSSIBLE.
Masks or Face Shields Must be worn correctly over mouth & nose by Exhibitors, Spectators,
Judges and Stewards in all areas including rings, washrooms, aisles, booths, bleachers, ETC.
Social Distancing  – 2 meters – wherever possible, including the Show Secretary Table.
Be self-sufficient: bring your own sanitizer, pencil/pens and personal masks.

Do not leave personal belongings at ringside, including your garbage.

IF YOU SEE SOMETHING – SAY SOMETHING.  LET US PROTECT EACH OTHER
BE AWARE OF SOCIAL DISTANCING, SANITIZE AND WEAR YOUR MASKS.

 

PROOF THAT YOU HAVE HAD BOTH COVID VACCINATION IS REQUIRED

AND/OR

      READ THROUGH THE DECLARATION, IF YOU HAVE NOT HAD BOTH COVID SHOTS BUT HAVE HAD A RAPID TEST WITHIN 72 HOURS.  THIS DECLARATION AND TEST RESULTS WILL BE REQUIRED UPON ARRIVAL ON THE DOG SHOW GROUNDS, IF PROTOCOLS ARE IN PLACE
